Where is autonomy heading, and how can Europe lead the way?
This new track is XPONENTIAL Europe’s home for the research community, the academic world and the long-range thinkers. This track is focused on bringing together PhD researchers, university partners, AI ethics practitioners, quantum technologists and workforce development professionals in a single program. Sessions will explore the ethical and governance frameworks shaping responsible autonomy under the EU AI Act, the practical applications of quantum sensing, computing and cryptography for unmanned systems and the simulation and synthetic data techniques transforming how autonomous systems are trained and tested. The track also addresses the European skills gap in autonomy and robotics directly, with programming on university partnerships, vocational training, operator certification and the reskilling pathways needed to support the sector's growth.
