EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM 2027

The EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM (EDF) is Europe’s leading specialist conference for uncrewed aviation. Nowhere else do so many decision makers from national and European regulatory bodies meet directly with representatives of the drone economy. Together, they engage in critical dialogue to identify ways to remove the remaining barriers to commercial operations of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) in Europe and to enable broad UAS adoption across industry and society.

The EDF is organized by UAV DACH – Association for Unmanned Aviation, which also serves as a co-host of XPONENTIAL Europe. In cooperation with Messe Düsseldorf and AUVSI, the association brings together manufacturers, operators, policymakers and regulators to address the key issues shaping the future of the UAS industry in Europe.

The next EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM will take place on March 15, 2027 in Düsseldorf and is part of XPONENTIAL Europe. Tickets for Europe’s most important UAS industry conference also include access to XPONENTIAL Europe.

Program Overview

At the EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM, the key questions shaping the future of the UAS industry in Germany and across Europe are discussed openly and, when necessary, controversially.

What participants value most is the direct, level-headed exchange. Industry stakeholders appreciate the opportunity to communicate their expectations and concerns without filters. Likewise, representatives from national and European regulatory authorities benefit from immediate, practice-focused feedback. In short, Düsseldorf brings together a unique mix of rulemakers, manufacturers and UAS operators who will ultimately need to work under the same binding regulations and procedures.

Despite differing viewpoints, all participants share one common goal: finding solutions that will advance the future of the drone economy in Europe.
