The countdown is on - companies from all over the world can register at www.xponential-europe.com for the Düsseldorf premiere of XPONENTIAL Europe, the new leading European trade fair for uncrewed systems and robotics in all areas of autonomous technology. The event will take place from 18 to 20 February 2025 in Hall 1 at the exhibition center in Düsseldorf, Germany. From OEMs to start-ups, companies producing autonomous systems, materials and technical components will showcase their innovations, including autonomous navigation in the air, on land, at sea and in space, sensor technology, image processing and computer systems, as well as services such as ATM / UTM solutions, cybersecurity, legal and consulting. The high-level forum with workshops and educational programmes is geared towards autonomy experts, researchers, engineers, programme managers, policy makers, executives and end-users from a wide range of industries. XPONENTIAL Europe 2025 will take place concurrently with EuroCIS, the world's leading trade fair for retail technologies, providing valuable synergies and opportunities for cross-industry networking and collaboration.
"Registrations for the premiere of XPONENTIAL Europe are in full swing and we are very pleased that, in addition to the joint participation of UAV DACH, we can already count the first renowned companies such as Dronivo, Germandrones, PIDSO, Rheinmetall with its subsidiary MIRA, RIEGL International, Saderet Limited, TESTEM and the Development Centre for Ship Technology and Transport Systems as well as numerous international start-ups among our exhibitors. In addition, country pavilions from Denmark, Norway, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Spain have expressed concrete interest in participating. Starting in 2025, the innovations of the future can be experienced up close in Düsseldorf in form of technology pavilions and demonstrations - this is truly unique in Europe," says Malte Seifert, Director Metals, Energy & Autonomous Technologies. "XPONENTIAL has been the leading industry gathering for uncrewed systems and robotics in the U.S. for 50 years and is now being expanded to the European market. It will showcase what will drive the world of tomorrow," adds Seifert, looking forward to the event.
The new high-tech event organised by Messe Düsseldorf will showcase cutting-edge technologies along the entire autonomy value chain and differs from other industry events in that it covers the entire spectrum of uncrewed systems. With its diverse platforms, XPONENTIAL EUROPE covers not only aerial drones and space, but also land-based and maritime technologies.
Focus on future topics
Topics such as automation, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence will play a central role at XPONENTIAL Europe, which focuses on robotics and future technologies in the field of mobility. In addition to innovative drone technologies and logistics automation, the trade show will also address the challenges and prospects of automation in road traffic, positioning North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) as a centre for uncrewed mobility in Europe. For example, the German Rescue Robotics Centre (DRZ) in NRW is not only a national competence centre for the development of future robotic systems to relieve rescue and emergency services in dangerous situations or hostile environments (www.fkie.fraunhofer.de), but the Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport is also particularly promoting automated and networked mobility with the competence network innocam.NRW. This makes North Rhine-Westphalia a pioneer in the fields of robotics and autonomous mobility and the ideal location for XPONENTIAL EUROPE.
Safely controlling vehicles from a distance: Rheinmetall presents the latest technologies for remote-controlled driving
The ability to remotely control vehicles will soon be a reality, bringing the automotive industry one step closer to the goal of autonomous driving (Level 4). Manufacturers such as MIRA GmbH, a subsidiary of the technology group Rheinmetall, are working on the development of vehicles that will initially be able to drive themselves and eventually become fully autonomous. At XPONENTIAL Europe 2025, the Düsseldorf-based start-up company will present key technologies for automated, driverless mobility. This is made possible by teleoperation - the remote control of vehicles on public roads. Visitors to XPONENTIAL Europe will learn how new, efficient and adaptable mobility models are already meeting the challenges of local transport, logistics and industry - and in a very practical way: many live demonstrations are planned, such as a semi-autonomous shuttle service.
XPO+ Launcher: Stage for start-up innovations
The "XPO+ Launcher" start-up area, also in Hall 1, will offer pioneers in the field of autonomous technology an exclusive platform to present their autonomous innovations and uncrewed vehicles from the air, space, ground and water segments to industry leaders as well as potential investors and customers. Start-ups will not only receive support in showcasing their groundbreaking technologies, but also direct access to the global network of exclusive partners such as AeroSpace.NRW, DroneMasters, GENIUS NY, Knowledge Investments, Start2 Group and Women And Drones. A lounge in the form of a co-working space will invite visitors to network with key industry players. The demonstrations in the lounge and on the start-up stage will cover drone hardware and technology areas such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT) as well as aspects such as design, operationalisation, integration and safety, policies and regulations, security, privacy, testing and certification processes. The best ideas and technologies will be recognised at XPONENTIAL EUROPE and awarded at the XPO+ Launcher Award Pitch.
EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM to be held for the first time in Düsseldorf on 17 and 18 February 2025
The EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM, organised by UAV DACH - Association for Unmanned Aviation, will be held for the first time on 17 and 18 February 2025 in the Congress Center Süd of Messe Düsseldorf. It is part of the XPONENTIAL Europe (18 to 20 February 2025) programme and will make a major contribution to bring together the players in the global drone industry in Düsseldorf. As the most important European platform for direct dialogue between the UAS industry and regulators, the EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM will once again provide the ideal opportunity to exchange ideas and network with key opinion leaders and decision-makers (https://www.eudroneforum.org). In addition to AUVSI, the leading international industry association, UAV DACH, the most important association for unmanned aviation in Europe, is also a partner of XPONENTIAL Europe.
