Düsseldorf is set to become the European capital of autonomous technologies from 18 to 20 February 2025: The XPONENTIAL Europe trade fair celebrates its premiere and brings together the world's leading companies and experts for uncrewed systems and robotics. At this new platform for autonomous technologies, around 200 exhibitors from 33 countries will present innovations for applications on land, at sea, in the air and in space, providing impetus for technological progress.
Live demonstrations and interactive events
With its convention format, XPONENTIAL Europe goes beyond a traditional trade fair offering a comprehensive live programme with interactive demonstrations of autonomous systems. Visitors can experience teleoperated shuttles from MIRA, a subsidiary of Rheinmetall, drone flights over the Rhine from Quantum Systems and autonomous rides care of Rheinbahn between the P1 car park and the North Entrance. The high-tech demonstrations by Quantum Systems will be broadcast live on the Innovation Theatre stage. As the connectivity partner of XPONENTIAL Europe, Vodafone will provide a 5G campus network to ensure optimum digital infrastructure. A special highlight for trade visitors and exhibitors will be the drone show on 19 February 2025 above exhibition hall 16, which has been designed as a networking event for the industry.
Malte Seifert, Director of XPONENTIAL Europe, is looking forward to the next three days: "Together with Messe Düsseldorf, our supporting organisations AUVSI and UAV DACH have created a new event format for a young, dynamic industry. Autonomous systems and robotics will have a huge impact on our economy and our everyday lives in the coming years. Making a contribution here, creating interdisciplinary networks and helping to shape an industry is an incredibly exciting task for the entire team."
Michael Robbins, President and CEO at AUVSI (Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International), remarks: “In the U.S., XPONENTIAL has been the leading annual event for uncrewed systems, autonomous tech, and robotics for decades. It's incredibly energizing to be part of the launch of the European staging of the event here at Messe Düsseldorf. With participants from dozens of nations and across market verticals, operational domains, and sectors, this week promises to set the stage for momentum that will grow alongside exciting advancements in the uncrewed systems industry."
Dr Gerald Wissel, Chairman of the Board at UAV DACH e.V. adds:
"Establishing XPONENTIAL Europe as the leading European trade fair for uncrewed systems, together with our partners AUVSI and Messe Düsseldorf, is an important milestone for us and for the European drone economy. In conjunction with the EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM, we are creating a unique platform for the entire UAS and AAM industry, making an important contribution to networking, the exchange of information and the creation of attractive framework conditions in Europe."
Top-class conference programme
XPONENTIAL Europe offers a first-class conference programme to accompany the trade fair. Düsseldorf's Lord Mayor Dr Stephan Keller will open the event on 18 February at 9.00 am, followed by a keynote speech by Dr Alberto Nisoli, Senior Finance Manager at Amazon Prime Air Europe. The EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM of UAV DACH e.V. (17 to 18 February 2025 at CCD.Süd), the XPONENTIAL Europe Conference in cooperation with AUVSI (Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International) and other forums offer a comprehensive programme with presentations, discussions and keynotes on the latest developments in the field of autonomous systems. Topics range from technical research and platform development to guidelines and regulations, national security, supporting infrastructure and cybersecurity. The conference is aimed at professionals from various industries, including aviation, transport, maritime applications and space.

One ticket, double the innovation: visit XPONENTIAL Europe and EuroCIS together
XPONENTIAL Europe runs concurrently with EuroCIS, the innovation trade fair for retail technology. The combination of uncrewed systems and digitalisation in retail is a rapidly growing market, for example in the area of autonomous delivery drones. Visitors to both trade fairs will therefore benefit from valuable synergies.
The trade fairs are open daily from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm XPONENTIAL Europe 2025 kicks off an hour before the start of the trade fair and the conference programme, with a keynote speech from9.00 to 10.00 am by renowned speakers who will get exhibitors and visitors in the mood for the day's topics.
