Were there any particular moments or encounters at the fair where your booth or your affiliation with the German Pavilion played a key role?
A standout moment was the visit from decision-makers in the U.S. infrastructure sector who explicitly praised the quality of German technologies and visited the Pavilion to learn more. In that context, we were able to present our solution and immediately schedule a follow-up meeting. That meeting might not have happened without the Pavilion.
Looking ahead to future events – how likely is it that you’ll participate again through the German Pavilion? What would be particularly important to you?
We are very likely to participate again through the German Pavilion. The combination of professional support, a strong location and great visibility is convincing. What’s especially important for us is international communication in the lead-up to the event and the ability to actively draw attention to the Pavilion – that worked extremely well in Houston.
What advice would you give to other German companies considering exhibiting through the German Pavilion for the first time?
Absolutely go for it! The German Pavilion is the ideal way to explore markets outside of Europe – professional, well-organized and with a strong impact. Especially for small and medium-sized enterprises, it offers a great platform to appear visible, competent and well-integrated. The effort is more than compensated by the reach and results.
Looking back at your experience in the German Pavilion at XPONENTIAL in Houston – how do you view the launch of XPONENTIAL Europe in Düsseldorf? What potential does this new format hold for German and European companies, particularly regarding market access, accessibility or international relevance?
The introduction of XPONENTIAL Europe in Düsseldorf is a very logical and valuable step. It allows German and European companies to gain international visibility without the logistical effort of traveling to the U.S. At the same time, it strengthens Europe as an innovation hub for uncrewed systems. For FlyNex, this format could once again be a great opportunity to present our platform in an international, yet locally accessible context.
In our view, a high-quality conference program – as seen in Houston – is a key factor for success, as it provided valuable market insights and strategic orientation.
From your perspective, what role could XPONENTIAL Europe play for companies offering software solutions in the field of surveying and inspection for European markets?
XPONENTIAL Europe has the potential to become a key meeting point for providers like FlyNex. The trade fair brings together technology providers, users, regulators and research institutions – exactly the kind of partners we collaborate with to develop new solutions for digital inspections and surveying. We see great potential to further adapt our software for European target markets and to launch new collaborations there.
