On the Third Day of XPONENTIAL Europe 2025, Automation and Security Take Center Stage

Mark Henning (Managing Director, Rheinmetall) will open the keynote session with "Interoperability and Networking of Unmanned Systems (Land, Air, Sea) in the Field of National Security/Defense." He will shed light on the challenges and solutions for networked unmanned systems to enhance national security.

Following this, Dipl.-Ing. Matthias Gronstedt (CEO, HHLA Sky GmbH) will discuss "Driving Success: Drones and Robots in the Age of Regulation, Economics, and Tech." He will outline the four key factors for the success of unmanned systems – from economic viability to technological innovation and cybersecurity.

The session will conclude with the expert panel "Commercial Success for Autonomous Systems: Safety, Trust, and Infrastructure." Prof. Dr. Alexander Braun (University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf), Marc Hölzer (CNO, Vodafone), and Sofie Weidenlöv (Volvo Penta) will discuss safety, public trust, and infrastructure as critical factors for the market success of autonomous systems.
